There’s something a little bit magical about being involved in a day/night game of American football. Starting in the sunshine and suddenly it’s dark and you’re under floodlights.
This evening we took on the Essex Spartans at their new gaff. Nice venue too. Flat pitch, great facilities.
A spicy game saw the Stallions come home 32-13 winners. Scores from Aaron Greenidge and Krys Czadowski were helped by the Stallions Defence first ever score when Joseph Bobo ran an interception for a Touchdown.
Essex rallied late in the fourth quarter but too late to stop Wembley from progressing to 3-0 and joint top of the SFC II East.
Next game Sunday 15th May at home to London Blitz B. KO 2:00pm
Entry £2 (under 16’s free)
